Mitchelton Retirement Living Print E-mail

Oxford Park Retirement Village is located in Mitchelton on Brisbane's northside, with panoramic views of both mountains and the city. Oxford Park Retirement Village offers all levels of care to the elderly, through our Independent Living Units, St Joseph's Villa Hostel, St Joseph's Villa Monastery Annexe, the Madonna Villa Nursing Home and Northside Community Care Packages.

Built in the federation style and surrounded by beautiful gardens and mature leafy trees, Oxford Park Retirement Village is a tranquil and relaxing place to reside.

The Village is conveniently located close to the Oxford Park railway station, local bus stops, and the increasingly popular cafes, restaurants and shopping in nearby Blackwood Street. It is also close to the local RSL and sporting clubs. For residents who don't have their own transport, the village bus makes regular trips to Brookside shopping centre.

Oxford Park Retirement Village's services have full accreditation from the Department of Health and Ageing's Aged Care Standards Agency.

Independent Living Units

Our 58 Independent Living Units are designed for people who currently enjoy an independent lifestyle yet are looking for the additional security of a higher level of ongoing care at the same location if the need arises.

Residents of our independent living units have access to:

  • An emergency call system, providing the security of knowing that help is available in an emergency
  • Regular outings organised by the Village Social Committee
  • Social activities (including barbeques) held in the Piazza
  • 'Happy hour' held monthly in the Community Room.

Parking and transport

Set-down areas are available at Madonna Villa Nursing Home and St Joseph's Villa Hostel. On-street parking is available as well as a limited number of undercover visitor carparks.

Transport information is available from the Translink website or for detailed maps and directions use Google maps.
